I'm going to plant some hops vines, mostly for the beautification factor. However, since I am going to have some hops lying around, I thought I should use them. I have heard of hopped cider but it appears I was thinking about graff, which seems to get most its advantages from the grains added to it.
Which brings me to two questions...
Is there any benefit to hopping cider without the grains?
There is a real funky variety of hops called Teamaker. No bitterness. Can this hops do anything to cider that most varieties of hops cant. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Teamaker-Be...521?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f0f134811
(disclaimer... This person does give great information on the hops growing forum and I am using this link for the information. I am not trying to sell anything)
