I know some folk boil there hops into a "tea" for hopping in the secondary but I've read that hops have a sedative, soporific quality as I have been suffering the insomnia lately and as I have some hop pellets that aren't going to be used until next weekend I said what the hey and made some tea. I put 1 table spoon of cenntenial hop pellets and put them in a coffee filter and tied it off into a tea bag. Steeped in in the microwave for 2 minutes then I took the bag out and in true brewing form dumped the soggy content into another coffe filter then I took the hoppy hot water and used it to sparge the soggy hops and get all that water into another mug. It's bitter but with some sweetener it's not bad and I fell a bit sleepy actually.
