Hop Storage

Is it better to just refrigerate your hops, or freeze them? I am using a vacuum food saver..

I freeze mine. Just easier do that plus the Food Saver...

Whole leaf hops still have moisture in them, freezing them causes this moisture to freeze which can damage the hops and affect utilization.

Hops are kiln dried and don't have much moisture at all. I vacuum seal mine and freeze them. Haven't had any issues.

I vacuum seal mine also and freeze. Vacuum sealing whole hops reduces the volume a bit also, so it don't take up as much room in the freezer.
