I brewed and kegged a helles that turned out to be under hopped somehow. Anyway, I bought some hop shot from northern brewer to see if I could rescue it. I thought it was a liquid, as opposed to the paste that it is. Anyone have any ideas on implementing this? I was thinking of perhaps boiling a little water and dissolving the hops and then adding it to the keg.

Edit: it's oil based and won't dissolve in water. Anyone have any other ideas?

If you're going to dump it anyway, you could try and make a hop tea using the shot. Add it to the keg and let it settle for a few days.

According to northern brewer, can't make hop tea with the extract. Needs to be boiled with wort. Looks like I'll try hop tea with some pellets.
