Hop rhizomes are hopping!

I received two rhizomes from William's on Tuesday. I stuck them into pots filled with soil, and put them in my 60 degree basement. Can't plant them outside in Michigan until the end of May.

I stirred around in the soil this morning, and I think they've grown almost an inch already!

Man, am I geeked!

My 5 should be here soon. I'm so excited. Now I just need to build a trellis for them.

My Cascade from last year has a bine that has already grown 18" since last weekend and several more following suite.:rockin:

Five of my eight have sprouted. Haven't seen the cascades yet, which is unusual.
