Do you use a bag or do you just throw them right in to the boil? I added mine directly to the boil and stirred it to make sure they didn't burn on the bottom. The video sent from midwestsupplies says to put them in a nylong bag and basically steep them.

I put the 60 minute hops right in.

I have some 3 1/2" s/s tea balls I use for 30 minute and less.

After 60 minutes in the tea ball, there is nothing left.

But, 30 minutes and less, there is quite a bit of residue, which translates to trub if it wasn't in the tea ball.

http://www.kitchenfantasy.com/ is in San Diego. If you buy 6, they are a lot cheaper. ( I bought 6, stepped on one, now I have 5 )
