Noob here.
Any opinions on hops bags? I've used one on my 5th batch and then started thinking about it. Any thoughts or opinions?
 
I don't worry too much about the hop debris and break material. When I chill, I give the pot a good stir to whirlpool everything to the center. Then if I'm siphoning into a fermenter, I keep the siphon to the side, if I'm pouring, I just try to leave as much behind as possible.
 
I decided to use one so I could strain the wort as I poured it into the primary, it made alot of difference. Then I got to thinking about how this may effect flavor considering the first several batches I've done any hops were not removed before fermentation.
Does removing the hops change the flavor of the finished product?
