Hey all,

I've been lurking here for a little while and really appreciate all the information I've been able to pickup along the way. I've brewed one batch of home brew - A Dogfish Head India Brown Ale clone - and am preparing for my second one.

I guess it's just my nature that I generally shy away from following recipes for much of anything I do :) So to that end I've been working up a recipe (based off of one I found on the web) for a witbier with honey and hopefully a citursy profile. Below is what I've come up with. If any of you guys would be kind enough to point out any egregious errors in the plan or any tips for a better final product I'll be grateful.

Honey Wit Bier

5.5lb wheat LME

.5lb Cara-Pils/Dextrine or .5 Flaked Wheat?
1 or .5lb Honey Malt?

1oz Cascade (60min)

.5oz Cascade (5min)
.5oz Bitter Orange Peal
.5oz Sweet Orange Peel
.7oz Coriander

1lb honey or .5lb candi sugar & .5lb honey?

Belgian Whi Ale Yeast

Thanks,
Chuck
