I live in Michigan and a good friend of mine is driving out to the Flagstaff, Arizona area in a couple of weeks. I asked her if she would mind bringing me back some honey on her return trip. She said it is ok. I am looking to get about 60 lbs.

I have looked a bit for honey varieties that come from Arizona and a few of them are Cat Claw, Desert Blossom and Mesquite. I know that there are more varieties from Arizona.

I really do not have any idea what these taste like. So, if you have any idea of how they taste can you let me know what you think of them and if they will make a good mead. Actually, most of the honey will be used to make melomels.

Also, any info on honey farms would be a big help. Thanks!
