I searched around and didn't see a thread about this. Is it possible to use honey as a primer for bottling? It very well could be a disaster, but I figured I would see if anyone else has tried it.

I was just wondering about adding the honey flavor to a beer. Thinking of trying something new, that's all.

use orange blossom honey, not clover. 6oz/5gal iirc.

you still won't get much honey flavor, it will ferment out.

I've used it a few times, it carbonates slower, the honey taste is very limited, and once the bottles went past the two month mark, they all seemed to be over carbonated and volcano on me every time a popped a cap off, kind of a pain in the ass.
