I Made a homemade wort chiller out of copper and am in fear of using it. I got it wet with sanitizer after I first constructed it and it obviously had a Strong metallic smell to it. I fear that it will impart this in my wort. I've just made the jump to full boil so a chiller is a must. Does anyone have an advice or have experienced the same thing?

Do a quick rinse with a weak vinegar solution to clean it, but otherwise don't worry about it. The yeast gobble up any excess copper.
