Homemade ginger beer recipe (non-alchololic)

I'm looking to make a good, easy Ginger beer (non-alchoholic) recipe from scratch. I don't have kegs so I'll need to use yeast for carbonation.

Anyone willing to share a recipe on this site or via private message.

Alton Brown's recipe is pretty good. It comes out a bit lemony, and I like to use brown sugar with the regular sugar, I like Vernor's so the molasses flavor is nice.
