Homemade air distributer?

Is it possible to make a homemade air distributer using brass fittings found at homedepot or Kent? There are no homebrew stores in atlantic Canada that sell kegging supplies at a reasonable cost, and I was curious if it could be done.

You can make an air manifold with Y-fittings and hose if you want. Otherwise, a bunch of T's connected together with close nipples will work too.

a 4-way (or more) manifold with valves and check valves might sound expensive online, but it's really not when you consider a home built 4-way would require:
(5) hose barb to NPT fittings
(4) valves
(6) close nipples to couple the T's and valves
(1) "Street elbow" for the last valve.

Described something like this:
Barb > Tee > Close > Tee > Close > Tee > Street Elbow
And from each Tee you'd have:
Close > Valve > Barb

I'm gonna guess that will add up to close to the $60 a proper manifold costs, and you still don't get check valves...

who really uses shut-off valves on the co2? a check valve and the quick connect has never lost me gas.

I just made a 3 way with MFL fittings for $10 I will put a post with pics up of it.

I do. probably dont need them but i use them whenever a keg is offline just for extra security

And yes. you can build a manifold as big as you want/need with stuff from home depot.
