Home Beermaking The Complete Beginner's Guidebook Third Edition by William Moore

This is the book that came with my kit from Midwest. It's very easy to follow and well laid out. The book covers the basic equipment, standard brewing processes and ingredients. It talks about beer styles and gives recipes. This book even goes into hop bitterness and International Bittering Units, which is a bit more than beginner stuff, I think. I found this book useful.

yes, this is the book that came with my kit as well. it was a great starting point for me since it's short and to the point. i've added dave millers home brewing guide, brewmasters bible and the home brewers garden to my collection. also a subscription to brew your own.

of course i find answers to my posts in these books after i've started a thread. maybe i should read every sentence 5 or 6 times to retain the info. :drunk:
