Hisense 4.4-cu ft Freestanding Mini Fridge

Anyone use one of these for their kegerator? Picking it up tomorrow and want to drill the top for the tower but am crazy nervous about catching a coil. Will try the cornstarch alcohol test. But wondering if anyone knows for certain if there are coils on the top or not.

Easiest way to know for sure is going to be the cornstarch and alcohol trick. Not worth spending that kind of money on a fridge, assuming that there isn't a coil in the spot where you want your draft tower, and start drilling only to hear the dreaded PSSSSSST! as all the coolant leaks out.

Think an infrared thermometer would do the trick? Don’t have rubbing alcohol or cornstarch! Haha. No vodka either (I’ve seen that suggested), only whisky and don’t plan on wasting that!

I don't have a direct answer, but you may want to make sure that the door gasket is removable. and that you can put it back on a piece of plexiglass or whatever you use when you remove the door shelves.
