Would love to crack an Arthur or Soigne magnum the morning of my wedding this August. If anyone is going through and can grab an extra of either it would be greatly appreciated. Can send cans from the next Other Half release or good shelf stuff from NYC. Would also be happy to send cash and a label if any one can pickitupformebro.

anyone get their fofa tix yet? the paranoiac in me is fretting until i have them in hand
I don't think they have been shipped yet. Have been trying to communicate with the ticket website for weeks as they have the wrong shipping info for me, and when they finally responded yesterday(still no signs of my issue being resolved) they mentioned that they had until shipping labels were printed to remedy the issue.

yeah, I haven't gotten anything. Would not panic until I start seeing people posting their tix and days later I have not recieved mine.

It's 2/15, which is the most recent batch despite the two previous batches being labeled 3/15 and 4/15. I had a bottle and it's quite nice, not as good as the March batch but much better than April.
I really don't understand all the 'hate' towards April Arthur. I picked up 12 and was quite wary as I opened the first one. All I could think of as I had it was "why all the hate?" Honestly, has anyone had the most recent batch of Convivial? Not a peep about that one. Now I haven't had the March batch, nor the Feb batch, and while it's certainly possible that those two are nuanced a bit more favorably, there's nothing wrong with April.

I think people are so fixated on the "funk" aspect of the saisons that they overlook all the subtle nuances that make each beer unique and what it truly is.... I actually appreciate them not coming out of the gate tasting like "they used to after 6 months to a year"... I want to actually taste the transition... there's so much more to these beers than just strong funk

Strong agreement. That's why I really liked the December or whatever batch of Florence - there was almost no tartness/funk to it fresh. It was really cool and different. Tasted like what I think of as a saison, not the AWA-bordering thing that most of the HF shelf beers are after a while (this is not a complaint about what they taste like after a while :p )

I mean, obviously I get the obsession with that funk/tart yeast... it's delicious... but yeah, I'm perfectly happy with the variation in taste as I know where they will end up but I can taste what it's like in different stages

Any idea on lines/crowd today? Any updates or mention of upcoming releases and how long Flora would last?
