I love how neither here, nor on the site that shall not be named, no one has yet to talk about the upset guy angrily walking through the waiting area today shouting "$50 for whoever will sell me their Fou Foune." If I understood correctly, he missed out by a few people. That being said, definitely was getting some odd looks from the staff (understandably so.) Upon having someone request a higher price, given that person's reputation probably to egg him on a little bit, the guy scoffed and immediately drew out of his "must win" hat that Fou trades 1-1 with West Ashley and he wouldn't be going any higher than the $50.

Oh beer.

This knob was a few people ahead of me in line and after dealing with listening to him talk down to and humblebrag to the people around him about **** like having a single bottle of sarrasin in his closet for two hours I took great joy in watching him, and his 60+ year old mulemother barely miss out on fou even if it meant I wouldn't be getting any myself.

Negative. Had a bottle yesterday, and was pretty flat, some funk and tart, but nothing like B5. Hasn't really developed at all since December.. needs lots more time, or maybe will never get there

I don't know you from Adam but I would hazard a guess that simply your attitude and display of beerbroness at HF is what has turned people off about you. In the end it is just beer so why in the world would you ever get so upset about it. I am sure you saw a lot of people in line behind you that also missed out but they didn't take to crying about it in public, thats what forums are for.

If b5 is your comparison point, you'll probably be disappointed with any other Flora batch, that batch was on point.

Perhaps you have different standards than me, but the bottles I had in March were both well on their way to being a great beer... Not like b5, no, but b5 was.. special.

yep, I wasn't there either but the reports of the Dbaggery followed up by the posts seeming to not get it...
