out of genealogy and no more loons, the lady taking my order was kind enough to show me the last 3 bottles that were in the recycling bin, mamouche and 2 lpgs..........

For real, going to Parker Pie for the pizza is top priority, the loonz and the taplist are just gravy.

I always order a large and eat half, then have some munchies for the ride home to MA and the fridge. The steak sandwich is quite tasty as well.

I picked a bad week to play a lot of golf. My streak of missing every fruited Flora release looks to be continuing...

If anyone in Vermont/NH wants to get together to drink a Cherry Flora at some point, I'll bring lambic and CD10 to the party. Let's touch tips and do this!

Also, while I order Green Mountain Special at Parker 95% of the time, I really love Bangkok Disco and Scott's Revenge (the shrimp pizza) too. I have not ever tried one of their sandwiches and I don't see that happening anytime soon. Unless the pizza oven breaks down? Then, maybe.

I always order wings (thai sweet and spicy and franks buffalo) and pizza (scotts revenge).... on Friday nights, I order oysters... this weekend I was there for 4 meals so I got to try 3 sandwiches and they were all delicious... the bread they use really makes them...

between the food and the guaranteed fresh Edward... that's enough to make it a must stop... well, not to mention the awesome staff...

I think it's almost normal to have at least one bad experience pretty much everywhere... that said, I never have had one at Parker Pie. So it's totally possible that you caught the wrong person on the wrong day... that sucks because it's really one place I feel so comfortable at.

Like many others in here, I've made friends at many of the more know beer spots... so it's hard to pick favorites but I try to stop at Parker every time I'm in VT.
