I long to make a RIS but I do not have any way to infuse O2 into the wort. My thought was that the lack of infusing O2 could be compensated by adding more yeast. The thought being that the oxygen in used by the yeast in their reproductive stage, so compensate the lower amount of oxygen with more yeast?

Anyone care to share their experience concerning high gravity brews? From pitching rates, to methods to prevent stalling, to headspae concerns?

I don't worry about O2 until I'm shooting for 13+%. I've done plenty of 10-12% brews with just a proper amount of yeast, aerating with a big spoon, and letting it sit.
