Greetings brewers and friends!
Just found this site, looks great and loaded with good info and banter. Fun stuff. Located in central Vermont. We've got a home brew club here called 'Our Lager Boys' Wanna Brew Club. All are welcome and we want to connect with other brewers in VT and beyond.

Been homebrewing for 17 years and the hobby has certainly evolved! But the bottom line stays the same....enjoying a quality beer we made ourselves!

Hope to make contributions here and pull some gems from this site.
Thanks for the forum.

Cheers,
Lawsons_Finest, Warren, VT

Welcome!

I'm originally from the southern part of the state (outside of Bennington), now reside over the border in MA. Still think of myself mostly as a Vermonter, though.

Seems like we're getting a good number of Green Mountain representation lately... we can finally counterbalance the huge North Carolina contingent.

Hey bird!

Are you going to be entering in the homebrew competitioin in N. Mass in early December? Have you been before?

I'm trying to figure out if I want to trek down there and get some homebrews in, as I missed the Green Mtn. Mashers, Vermont competition this year. would be great to meet some out of area brewers

Any advice you can offer is appreciated.

Didn't know there was a homebrew competition! I'm still basically a n00b (I'm a quick learner, though), so I doubt I'll enter. Been brewing since early in the year. I'm looking for feetback on my beer, but I've always had the impression that most competitions are more focused on style purity and whether any minor defects are present than whether the beer actually tastes good or not.
