I have been making beer and wine for about 30 years. Our tastes have gravitated to Red Ale from Stouts and more white wine and ciders than the reds. I have used a kegerator for two beers, but will switch out a stout and keg a Pinot Grigio. All the ciders, and a Jailhouse margarita are in kegs, but not refrigerated. I have done the Pinot Grigio in a box, but I want it cold. I am lazy and do not like to use bottles! I replaced all the standard beer faucets on my kegs with self closing ones because they all seemed to leak a bit. I know I put them together when I got them, but I cannot figure out how to take them apart. the plunger has a screw in the front, but I cannot budge it. I am not sure I should! Any idea where I can get instructions?
Thanks
Phyllis

I want to add that the faucets are not Perlick or forward sealing faucets

I was able to find an exploded view of the 'replacement parts' for the self closing standard faucet. It looked like I had been on the right track that the screw in the front of the tap did need to be removed. I used a drill and a lot of tight holding to get the screw loose. It appears that it was 'glued' in place. After it got it clean I could not remember how it came apart, and had to take another one apart to see the progression of parts. I took photos this time showing how to take apart and put back together again. Feel kinda foolish about that! If anyone else has this problem I can post some photos. I am not sure why it was so hard to find out to take apart and reassemble this faucet.
