What do you guys think? Will it seal?
The bends on the coil were offset from eachother and I mounted them in line vertically, which put the fittings in a little bind

I'd sure want to modify that top bend enough to even out the o-ring. Maybe someone can suggest a bending method/tool. Of course, you can test for leaking first...

I got it straightened out. Just needed to muscle it carefully. Next time I’ll buy a HLT with tri clamp fittings welded on for HERMS coil.
Thanks guys
Glad it worked out.

Years ago, Spike welded one for me. I think BrewHardware also does custom welding. But the weldless one should work fine.

Cheers!

If you attempt to bend the coil I would first fill the piece/area being bent with sand, or salt, something to prevent the tubing from crushing while bending.
In those cases you're not really putting a sharp bend in it, just slightly tweaking the coil orientation. No need to fill with sand for that.
