I am so glad to have found this forum this past fall .... I had just started experimenting with mead and wine this summer and stumbled onto the treasure trove of advice, tips and ideas that is found on this site.
My wife is celiac and so cannot have regular beer and since GF beers are expensive and pretty much suck, she had not had any for some time.
And then the clouds parted and a ray of sunshine showed me the gluten-free brewing section of this forum ..... (sound of heavenly chorus here).
I had never considered brewing beer before and here I am waiting until next week when my first batch of GF beer will be ready to try out .... we are very excited :mug:

:)

I kinda jumped into this hobby with both feet ....

I get most of my supplies at Beers of the World ... what other brew supply stores are there in the Rochester area?

I order most of my supplies from northern brewer or north country malt supply. there is a homebrew supply/hydroponic supply shop near eastview and they have another shop some where else in rochester.

Sunset Hydroponics at Eastview or Stoneridge mall.
BOTW in Todd-Mart or whatever they call that place now.
Maiers cider on 5 Mile Line road in Webster has some supplies as well.

However, I pretty much order all my supplies online or make a run to Niagara Traditions unless I need something in a pinch as I'm not too enthused with the local shops.

I'm not too enthused with the local shops either.
