I got some dried hops from a Guy at work and not to sure of they're good. I only have used pellets in the past anyone have some ideas

how do they look & smell? if they're brown & smell like cheese they're no good

How are they packaged, and how were they stored?

Oxygen and moisture are bad for hops. If they were stored airtight, dry, and cool (even frozen), they are probably fine.

If they make you laugh and feel lazy, they're not hops...
