Help - someone with a 6 gal / 23 L glass carboy with gallons marked on it.

Can someone who has a 6-gallon (23 Liters) glass carboy with the gallons marked on it, measure 8" from the ground up and tell me where that lands? I have a 6 gallon carboy that has beer in it and the top of the water line is 8" from the floor. I need to know how much is in there so I can hopefully use my 3 gal carboy as a secondary. THANK YOU!

Nope. A little over 2-1/2 gallons. Too much head space.

(For me anyway. Someone else may be fine with it.)

No that's perfect, thank you. I'm fine with too much headspace. I just didn't want too small of a carboy!
