Hi folks I'm a newbie to this. I've begun my first couple of brews. All have developed a thick film on too while fermenting. White in colour to the bottom and brown in colour to the too. I feel I've made a mess of these but I am wondering can I do anything to rectify this?thanks in advance
 
It sounds pretty normal to me, but I am new too. I presume you are worried you may have an infection? Can you post a picture?
 
I just noticed that this is a cider forum! lol I have no clue about cider, but I plan to do one after I get a few decent beers accomplished.:D
