Help Making German Style Ale

I want to create a recipe that is similar to a nice german style beer. I will have to make an Ale though and this will be an extract recipe. Does anyone have anything to start me off in the right direction? I would really really appreciate it, i cant find any damn extract recipes online

At this site, the recipe forums have "hybrid ale" sections that include plenty of Altbiers and Kolsches. Some are extract, and some have plenty of positive feedback.

Clarification: I mean the Recipe Databases way down below, not the Recipe/Ingredients section.
