huh?
When I opened my kegerator today, I saw mold growing inside the kegerator and on the kegs!

I had a spill a couple months back but I cleaned everything out with 409 and then bleach, so I'm not sure where the mold has come from.

My question is what steps should I take now?

I have four kegs with beer, three of them at least half full. Do I need to dump them all?

And how do I clean and sanitize to assure that the mold never returns?

Thanks in advance....

the beer should still be good. Just clean it up again. look for any air leaks in your kegerator that may be drawing in moisture and use some damp-rid and you should be set

You have air getting in your kegerator causing moisture. Pretty simple. Silicone any gaps, or get some damp-rid or something.

Your kegs are pressurized and sealed, no mold is getting in that.

Quats and bleach my friend, let it dry fully. Re seal your kegerator and throw in a dessicant. :)

are quats or bleach safe to use on tubing?

or should I stick with standard sanitizer for those?
