I am brewing a pale wheat kit today and am wondering if I should use the Danstar BRY-97 or the spare pack of Safale-05 i have in my fridge.

I like the 05 a lot. The BRY-97 is pretty similar, I say what ever came with the kit. Both should do fine.....they are clean fermenting ale yeasts that should showcase the ingredients.

You're good to go with either one.

If you don't already rehydrate you dry yeast, you may want to look into it for a healthier cell count.
