Hi I am a virgin when it comes to home brew, I'm planning to get a set up for Christmas does anyone have any advice on which equipment kit to get? Midwest Supply seems to have a great deal on their intermediate kit. Any advice welcome.

They all have pretty competative prices, also see if there is a Loccal homebrew supply around you. There is a pretty good list of homebrew supplies on brew-monkey.com.

If yo upost your location i am willing to bet that there are some brewers on the forum around you that could point you in the right direction.

All those places listed are good bets on getting what you need to get set up. You might also try looking at craigslist or ebay as sometime a deal can turn up there as well.

What ever your budget...add 25% and you won't regret it.

Midwest is great and good to your proximity.

I use them exclusively for on-line orders. Great customer service.

There is also craigslist or other type sites to find equipment from people getting out of brewing. Shop around and you will find some great deals.
