Well, up until now, I've been a wanna be brewer. I have a local
brew on premis, and have brewed some good beers there but I want
to make the jump and go to all grain brewing.

I'm a piping designer by trade and have done alot of work upgrading
one of the "major" commercial breweries. So, I've seen all parts of the
process on the commercial side, now I want to give it a crack and put
out some 5 or 10 gal batches.

cheers!

Can you tell me more about the brew on premises?
I've heard he term but what I think it might be or have in mind might not be what these POB's are. As far as I know we don't have any in Texas for beer but if these are what I think they are then we have a WaterToWine here in Austin.

Run,
its a home brew supply that also brews beer, wine and meade on premise.
Basically, they use a round MT heated via hot water. There reciepes are
grains and extract. Grains go in a steeping basket.
Chilled via an exchanger and into a plastic fermentor (15 gal.)

I've made some good beers their. Currently drinking a very hoppy IPA
and a Marzen (Oktoberfest).
Here's the website.
