Well, for not much longer and i'll be headed back to Alaska to finish my tour up there. Been brewing for 6 years now and I don't have a lot of money so i'm doin it the cheap way. Thought I was a "beer drinker" until I tasted my brothers home brew and realized I was missing out on a lot of flavorful beers I never knew existed. I'm a big fan of the IPAs and the occational Stout. I just really enjoy the process as a whole, that I can make something that tastes good and people want to have. Hoping soon i can upgrade my equipment and get rolling on an idea of mine. For now, though, I'll sit here in the desert and dream about the beer I'm going to make when I get home.

Thanks for listening

SSgt Petersen, Nate

Nice to have yo with us . This is a great resource and by the time you get home you'll probably have all kinds of new recipes to try and maybe some new techniques as well. I haven't been brewing as long as you but if I can ever help just holler. By the way thanks for your service, my cousin did two tours in Iraq so I know its no picnic but guys like you are the reason I get to brew beer at home freely

ya I hear ya about dreaming about brewing. I got back from Bagram in November and I was thinking up a lot of recipes. I've brewed 65gal since I've been back.
