I'm a newbie when it comes to any type of alcohol making but I received a beer making kit for Christmas and that just opened Pandora box. To say the least I am very excited for what my future brewing has in store for me. Right now I am not so much interested in brewing the beer (although I am). As I am interested in mead and making things to run through a still.

Home distilling is illegal in all 50 states. Otherwise, there's plenty of help, recipes & the latest thoughts on beer, wine, mead, kombucha, foodie stuff, etc on here. We have it all! I've got relatives on bil's side around there. Great grand nephews & the whole bit. And trust me, when you finally get a taste of that first glass of beer of your own creation, you'll know what to do next!...:mug:

While home distilling is dangerous and illegal, home brewing is relatively safe and extremely fun! Welcome to the forums.

Thanks cyclman I'm intrigued by this now. I'm in the process of gathering ingredients for a maple mead. But I'm def go me to try this.
