Hey all!
I am a novice brewer (started in March 2014) and have 2 extract batches under my belt. I currently have a Vanilla Stout and a Green Chile Cerveza that I have bottled. I have a batch of Skeeter Pee and a batch of Raspberry Cider (for SWMBO) in my primaries. I am loving this hobby and loving the experimentation that goes with it. Now if I could only find a cheaper way to do it, as SWMBO isn't very pleased with these initial expenses!
A little about me, I am a Medically Retired Army Vet, having gotten out of military service in 2010. I am married with 2 small children, having been married 9 years now. I am a therapist, working with kids and teens who are at risk of being removed from their homes. Many a nights I come home and could use a good homebrew! I got in to brewing because I cannot stand most of the commercially available beers, and with small children I am hard pressed to get out and find craft beers in my area. I love beer, and am working on developing my palate for it.
Looking forward to many happy years of homebrewing in the future!
