New to the site and I already love it. I've seen a lot of interesting topics and information out here. I've been brewing for about a year now and I wish I would have started years ago. Oh well....I only have to look forward to more brewing to catch up to those lost years. He-double hocky sticks Yeah!
I'm a NC native and live in Raleigh. We have a pretty decent home brew crowd here. We get the world beer festival 2 times a year and I have yet to attend one. I am however making it a point to go this year. There are also a couple of decent local breweries around here but I much rather like sampling fellow home brewers blood and sweat. Our local HBS has a pretty good selection of grains, hops and yeast that have allowed me to be a little diverse in my brew schedule this past year. I have a few experimental recipes posted on beertools.com and I use beertools pro to now calculate and create my recipes. I look forward to hanging out here and learning as much as I can.
Cheers!
