Sounds like you will make something with alcohol in it, but it wont be beer, more like jailhouse hooch.

The basic process is similar, but I suggest you read up on homebrewing before creating some concoction. There is a great book free online called www.howtobrew.com by John Palmer. It's a great intro and may lead you to the next step. :)

cool thank you, im pretty much after info if the stuff will kill me, not the alcohol but if it could be poisonis iheard some stuff about methenol and some stuff about weird bacteria that can kill. idk but i think the alcohol would kill any thing in it but im not a brew master.

spend the money mate, and go buy a home brewers kit. All the info on brewing your first beer will come with the concentrate you buy !!

Yeah, I doubt you will have anything poisonous, but if it got infected with anything other than your yeast it may simply taste bad.
There are several fruit based wine recipes that are close to what you put together. Sanitation and temperature control are the keys to success with any homebrewing venture.
Best of luck to you.

You won't make anything that could kill you or even make you sick much, but it might taste pretty bad. That's basically a wine recipe. You may want to check out the wine forums on here.

For beer I recommend checking out www.howtobrew.com for some great free info, and read up on here. A basic kit will run about $100, and would make a good starting point. You could spend less, but if you are going to do it more than once, you will want the basic kit at least.

Sanitation is critical to making good beer and wine. I personally recommend StarSan for it's ease of use. Make sure everything is clean and then wet it with starsan for at least 30 second. Drain and you are good to go. Should not even let it dry.

Good luck with that wine stuff. I hope it turns out ok.

I'm more worried about what you used to sterilize. Was it soap and water? Did you boil it? Was it an actual sterilizing agent like Star-San or One-Step? or Bleach? You mentioned that you only sterilized the utensils you used. When everything needs to be sterilized, including what you are fermenting in. What type of yeast did you use? Also just using a latex glove wont work cause it wont stop any nasties from entering the bottle.

In other words, you can very easily get an infection. Other than that i would say it will just end up being a flavored cider.
