Hello Brewers,

After reading a few websites on homebrewing, it started to look more and more like an interesting and hopefully delicious new hobby to try. This forum seems like a good place to start trying to get answers to my questions and perhaps read some good ideas from experienced Brewers.

Mead seems like a good idea for the first experience in brewing. It seems slightly less complicated than beer or any other kind of fermented beverage.

Welcome to the forum. Mead is a good place to start, easy steps, though it could test your tolerance for waiting. last year I did have some mead I started in June and another in July ready to gifts for the holidays, though maybe not at their best. I have a couple bottles to open this year for comparison. Enjoy!
