I have been lurking on the site for a while, thinking about getting a beer brewing kit, and luckily, my wife decided to get me one for my birthday....

AND she gave it to me early so that I would (hopefully) have beer to drink by then! :D What a great gal! :rockin:

Anyway....Here I am. Im new, and my scottish ale is in the closet!

Welcome Kodatech. I'm relatively new here myself. Hope your brew goes well!

I see you're from Roanoke, how is the Railhouse brewery doing? Last I was there "Track 1" was starting to get pretty good distribution in the area...

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday. :mug:

My wife did the same thing for me in July! Welcome to the forum, and to brewing!

I too am a newb from Roanoke. Do you know about the Star City Brewers Guild? They are a local hombrew club.

I have not been to any of the meetings myself, but I plan to once I get a few brew under my belt.

I have heard of the Brewers Guild, and I think there is a meeting/brew get together maybe the 1st saturday in november. Ill have to check.

The railhouse brewery seems to be doing well. I like track 1, but I havent sampled track 2 yet.
