I just wanted to fire off a quick hello to all here. From my reading I can see that there is a lot of great information being shared between brewers of all degrees.
I'll just give you all the .02 tour of my brewing life.
First of all I'm in the Military (US Navy) I am a Chief Petty Officer (E7 to you Army and AirForce pukes). I have just made 2 moves in the last 18 months. I was stationed in San Diego, CA my ship moved to Bremerton, WA, 10 months after the move I transfered to a new duty station in Kingsville, TX. OUCH!
I've been brewing for 15 years. Started with extract 14 years ago and quickly moved on to all grain. I started kegging about 8 years ago. I drank beer in just about every place you can think of. Built almost every piece of brewing equipment I have left. The movers lost most of my equipment. So I'm in the process of rebuilding.
Brewing is not my only hobby. I love to hunt, shoot and drink beer just not at the sametime. I do reload my own ammunitions for hunting and target shooting. I also reload my own beer bottles and kegs.
I look forward to chatting with you all.
