made a scottish ale saturday (now monday morning) using wyeast 1728 with a 1L starter.
the OG should have been 1.074 but ended up being 1.094 drunk::rockin:) ....anyway I had good krausen and heavy activity starting in just a few hours. Normally, the activity seems to peak on the second day so I awoke this morning expecting to see a full 3" krausen....it had already fallen. Is this normal with this yeast? It's my first time using 1728 and I know different yeasts behave in mysterious ways but I have yet to see krausen drop completely in 36 hours...
