Ok, so I dug out an old propane burner my dad pulled out of the trash years ago. It was used to melt a large pot of lead to quench steel for heat treating purposes. The thing is quite large and not very pretty, but I imagine it would work pretty well to get some water boiling for beer.
My problem is that the hose that should be between the reg and the burner/valve assembly dry rotted and was thrown out. The burner and reg both have 1/4" left hand threads on them. I went to home depot, they had some various other size hoses for propane but they were all either a different size or right hand thread. Does anyone know where I would be able to get an appropriate hose or some compression fittings so I could just use some flexible copper.
here are some pics cause its a beast and cool
