Has anyone used peonies in their brews?

I not a 'flower guy', so I see plants in my yard as potential food before I see decorations :) .

They do smell good, and from what I find online it looks like the peony is edible. I have a blond that I am going to hit with chilis tomorrow in secondary and I am wondering if the floral nose can be added without giving a vegital flavor.

What do you think?

Maybe I am too in touch with my garden. :eek:

Be careful with peonies or you might have to call it adam ant blonde hehe,I say go for it and report back immediately! I have used rose hips to bitter in the past.
