Recently brewed an IPA and want to harvest the yeast. Just moved beer to secondary yesterday and left yeast in carboy with airlock. Question, have I waited too long to harvest? The yeast sat in the carboy for about a day. I moved it to a fridge this morning at about 35 degrees. I've never done this before and want to make sure I do it right. Thanks.

If you sealed up the carboy after transfer, and everything was sanitary, the yeast should be good. An IPA is not the best beer to harvest yeast from due to the hops. You will be adding some hops to the new beer. This may or may not be enough to affect the taste of the new beer. YMMV.
