How lame does your wife/gfriend think you are for hanging out in a beer forum?

  • I'm not allowed to talk about it in public

  • I'm not allowed to admit we're together to the public

  • I get made fun of at least once per hour

  • I'm called at work and woken up at night and laughed at

  • I have a rare wife who isn't ashamed

  • I can't admit it to her

Mine laughs at me, but is glad I'm "not looking at porn".

Good thing she doesn't know about my porn site in development.

I don't have a SO at the moment (and if I did it'd be of the male variety  ), but I wouldn't want to be with someone who made fun of my hobbies. He doesn't have to share them, but if he has a problem with allowing me to do what makes me happy, he'd be packing his bags.

I make fun of myself for hanging out so much on a beer forum. But I don't listen to my self and tell my self to F' Off. It usually doesn't get out of hand but ocassionaly I've gotten into a minor shoving match with myself over the name calling. Damn Bully.

Uh, actually I'm currently single.. hard to tell, eh?

:D

I try to do all my surfing in here when I'm at work. :D

Seriously--if she is around, I stay away for the most part. I check for new posts every once in a while, but we work almost opposite shifts anyway, so even when I'm home I get on here anytime I want to.

She doesn't really care if I spend time here--she realizes it is a hobby I really enjoy. Plus she gets a good laugh out of some of the stories I pass on. :)

ORRELSE you mean you talk about us behind our backs.;)

Well with mine she can either stay at home or get a ride out. We normally do other things while we're out. The dogs even like the ride out. (But the like everything apart from bath time)

I had my first "you spend more time on that forum than you do with me!" yesterday.

My wife is pretty cool about the forum...she knows I get so much out of it, I just wish she would stop nagging me about the DIY I should be doing...

Surprisingly mine doesn't seem to mind too much about THIS forum. I used to spend a lot of time on a photography forum, though, and I got accused of: A. Spending more time on it than I did with her and B. Trying to meet other women (on a site which was 99% male).

She seems to like this one, though, and so do I.

My greyhounds don't mind a bit. That way they know where I am whenever they want food, treats, walks, rubs, etc.

Mine likes to reassure me how "dorky" I am. Especially when I told her that I took a picture of my spent grain bread the other day. I didn't dare to tell her that I actually posted this picture ;) .

But she means it it a funny way. And she is the same with her Baby-boards, where I make fun of her:)

my wife digs it too. i usually play around during the day while she's working. i usually have my nose in a book at night, or we're goof'n off around the house, cooking, or watch'n tv. she gets a kick out of our "general chit chat" posts....

same here, she thinks I'm a dork. At least I don't go to the anime forums anymore.

My girlfriend raises all hell if I tell her that I played with myself during the day, but don't play with her that night.

But besides, she doesn't mind me being here. She helps me brew.

My wife was very impressed by the pic, she is now more tolerant (in retrospect) of the big pile of grain I left on the dining room table last weekend.

She doesn't seem bugged by my addic.... reliance on this website.;)

Baby-boards? You having a critter?

No SO at the moment, although the kind of girl I go for would probably smirk and roll her eyes at me. This is perhaps the most "normal" board I frequent of all my usual stops.
