For my first go-round of Smoked Porter, I'm just gonna go the easy route of adding a little liquid smoke. I've heard Wright's Liquid Smoke is the best, but I've had trouble finding it.

I did buy the most expensive liquid smoke I could find though: Haddon House. Anyone heard of it or used it? For ingredients, it just says "Water, Hickory Smoke Concentrate, Polysorbate 80." Does this sound ok to use?

In a word...no, not sure. OK, that's 3 words. It contains Polysorbate. I know Potassium Sorbate doesn't kill yeast, but it stop further fermentation.

I use Wright's All Natural Hickory Seasoning Liquid Smoke, Concentrated.

Ingredients: Water and Natural Hickory Smoke Concentrate. That's all. :D
