Growler Question

How long will homebrew stay fresh in a growler if dispensed from a carbonated keg?
Is it similar to taking home beer from a microbrewery and will last a couple of days?
I have only conditioned in a growler and never filled with carbed beer. Just don't want to be disappointed by flat beer when I go to share it with some friends at a tailgate this weekend.

It should a couple days , my kegs are in the garage and I sometimes just fill a growler and keep it in the house and no you cant have my address

Chill it as much as you can to keep the CO2 in solution.

you can also jam a bottle filler wand into a picnic tap and at least fill from the bottom...shouldn't gas off as much CO2 or create any oxidation (though in a short time frame the latter isn't really an issue/concern)
