I've been having a problem with my growlers being flat only a few days after filling, despite keeping them sealed.

Can someone suggest the best growler filling techniques? Here's what I usually do:

Although it could be your setup (that is a really long tube), I would first check to see if your growler is sealing properly then investigate the filling setup.

Are you setting your psi to about 2? Are you sealing it on foam?

I would agree. If the beer is not flat right after going into the growler, the only way for it to go flat over time is if you are opening the cap or the cap is not sealing well. I fill my growlers just like a glass, i.e., hold the opening up to the tap and with the growler at a 45° angle, pour the beer down the side. Every brewpub I've ever seen fill a growler does it this way, though I've not been in that many brewpubs, so take that for what it's worth.
