Anyone have any good resources for info about growing your own, hops? How to get started, where to buy, what varrietys do well where?...

Just search I have seen this thread 5 or 6 times since I asked it a month or so ago. Freshops.com is the top dog though I think, I bookmarked it cause it was really good.

Ive got some garden land at my fathers house that he gave to me for hops, we are in Tennessee (zone 7 i think)

what would be best to grow here? casscades are something that I am leaning towards..

Heres a plant hardiness zone map, chances are your in 6a or 6b in TN cause over half of the state is. As far as which hops to grow you need to know the characteristics of the place you are putting them, does it have morning shade, afternoon shade, no shade, are the soils well drained, etc. Although in general hops are all the same type of plant and require the same type of conditions, well drained soils and good sunlight they are pretty vigorous growers though.
