Grolsch-Style Gaskets in Canada?

Hey all,

I was give 40 flip-top bottles and I'd like to use them although all the gaskets are worn out. I can find numerous American suppliers that sell the gaskets although I'd like to find a supplier within Canada so I can have them shipped via Canada Post cheapy mail; they're less than $5 for 50 after all...

The LHBS has them, but they're $0.25 each plus tax!

Cheapest i've found here in canada worked out to 20 cents each.....pretty much the same price as that website....but after you factor in shipping and taxes, you may as well buy local at .25.....Sucks though, as these are about 6 bucks for 100 in the US, but again....the duty,exchange, shipping would almost make it the same, unless you were doing an order on multiple items.

If you need em right away, i would pony up the 10 bucks and get em locally. When are you looking to get these? very soon?

I have about 40 bottles from Picaroon's that use regular crown caps, and I'll use those for my next brew...

I'd really like to use the Grolsch bottles though, but I can wait until later this summer. My mother is going to Bangor, Maine so hopefully I can find a HBS that she can drop into and pick 200-300 up for me! If so, I'll distribute them at cost amongst a few fellow Maritimers

You can't ha ha. I've never had anything from Picaroon's although someone I met through a WTB add on kijiji gifted me with 40 empty bottles! I guess his father would bring down a couple 4-packs each time he visited from NB. Really nice guy.
