New member here. Welshman living in England. Just getting back into homebrew after a decade hiatus. I started homebrew at 17 when I was just starting to enjoy beers (I was always an ale and dark beer man, which was rather unusual at that age).

Currently on batch number one after the pause and starting simple with a kit - Young's Harvest Brew with it's included Yeast.

Can suggested 1.5kg of sugar but decided to give a little more complexity:
500g Caster Sugar
500g Dark Spraymalt
500g Soft Brown Sugar

Looking forward to getting involved and draw on the experience here.
